Who is Lautaro?

History

Lautaro is an Argentine artist who discovered his passion for juggling and the circus while traveling through South America in 2014. Although he started out juggling clubs, years later he realized that poi was what he enjoyed most.

Since then, thanks to poi, he has had more adventures in Mexico, many European countries, and Australia, performing at traffic lights, in shows, at events, and with fire companies, as well as sharing his knowledge in workshops.

Specialisation

Over time, Lautaro has become known for focusing on throws with 3 or more poi, but he has also made interesting progress with 3 and 4 poi spinning, mastering flower patterns and body tracers.

Location

For now, Lautaro is temporarily living in Melbourne, Australia, but he remains active with his travels around the world. At the same time, he also offers online workshops and content through his Patreon.

What year did you start juggling?

I started juggling clubs in late 2014, then began learning to spin poi in 2017, but it wasn't until late 2019 that I started throwing three poi.

What do you like about poi?

I feel like they have a life of their own. Whether it's with throws or spinning, you have to respect how they react to gravity, and that really captivates me.

What inspires & pushes you in your flow journey?

Learning more tricks. I'm trying to train constantly (sometimes I can, sometimes not), and that pushes me to keep going.

What do you enjoy the most about poi?

The flexibility of poi is one of the biggest characteristics of the prop and what makes it unique, and I really enjoy playing with that.
