Boris is a French artist. Pretty quick in his life, he got interested in technical movements, and tried to express himself through them. His first medium was Skate. When he found Poi through a friend of his in 2010, he was amazed by the endless creative aspect of it. He felt that he could now create without being limited by injuries, pain, rain, bad concrete… Since then, Poi always stayed his main focus, he also practices a bit of other props (hoops, contact ball, clubs…).
When it comes to creation, Boris focuses on the general coherence of the product. He likes to mix technicity with simplicity, and use the full range of what’s available to him: a ball, a piece of rope, another smaller ball, and a body. He shares his method of personal style developpement around Europe.
He is based in Chamonix, in the french Alps, where he practices his other passion: ski mountaineering. When the snow melts, he’s traveling around to teach workshops, and this year, got into performing more as well.
